North Falls Offshore Wind Farm’s draft timetable for Examination issued
The Planning Inspectorate has issued a Rule 6 letter which outlines dates for the Project’s Preliminary Meeting and initial hearings (as set out below). This letter also includes an Initial Assessment of Principal Issues prepared by the Examining Authority, as required under section 88(1) of the Planning Act 2008.
- Preliminary Meeting: 28 January 2025
To participate in the Preliminary Meeting, people must complete the Event Participation Form by 20 January 2025. The purpose of the Preliminary Meeting is to enable views to be put to the Planning Inspectorate about how the Project’s application should be examined. More information about how to register to take part can be found in the Rule 6 letter.
If you wish to observe the Preliminary Meeting, then you do not need to register as you will be able to either watch a live stream of the event or watch a recording of the event, which will be published on the Planning Inspectorate’s Project web page shortly after the event has finished.
Venue: Blended event at Wivenhoe House Hotel, Wivenhoe Park, Park Road, Colchester CO4 3FA or virtually via Microsoft Teams (via the Planning Inspectorate’s Project web page).
- Open Floor Hearing (if requested): 29 January 2025
To participate in the Open Floor Hearing, people must complete the Event Participation Form by 20 January 2025.
As with the Preliminary Meeting, if people wish to observe the Open Floor Hearing they can do so via the Planning Inspectorate’s Project web page.
